      We are proud to offer a range of income-based and merit-based full and partial scholarships that will enable the most promising and talented young students from across the region to join our innovative university, despite financial adversity or economic hardship.

      There are several scholarships and grant opportunities available at DMUK for prospective students and their details can be found in the relevant sections. 

      If you would like to apply for any of the DMUK Scholarships, you should submit an Application for Scholarship form, along with supporting documentation relevant to your chosen Scholarship (academic transcripts, completion certificate(s), awards, Applications must be received by the closing date (as listed further) and submitted via the Scholarship Form. 

      1. Corporate discount -  as an employability and entrepreneurship-focused university, we have been developing strong relations with local companies from different industries and sectors. Our corporate partnerships enable us to develop mutual relations with the corporates. Our students and corporate partners benefit from these partnerships in different ways. Employees’ children of our corporate partners are eligible for a grant of USD 1,250 (or 10% of the programme tuition fee). 

      2. Full advance payment discount - a discount of 3% of the net annual tuition fees will be awarded to any student, (International Year Zero (Foundation), undergraduate or postgraduate) who pays their net annual tuition fees in full before 1 September 2024 for the September Intake. A student who first pays $2,500 of their fees to confirm their place for the chosen programme, and then decides to pay the tuition fee in full will also be eligible for this discount. The discount will be calculated on the net tuition fee, after deducting any other applicable scholarship(s) or discount(s) received by the student. 

      3. Family loyalty discount - a discount of 5% of the net annual tuition fees will be offered when two or more students from the same immediate family enroll for any International Year Zero (foundation), Undergraduate and Postgraduate programme. Immediate family members include parents, spouses, and siblings. This scholarship will not apply to the first enrolled student, but only to the second, third, etc. family members. This scholarship will only apply for every year of study if there are two or more active and enrolled immediate family members paying their fees in the same academic year but for post-graduate students enrolled on the part-time option the scholarship would apply or be eligible for just one time for their enrolment on a programme.

    Application - DMUK Talent 2023

      We will review your application and announce the results of Stage 1 on our website on January 27th

      *To acquire an Application ID, you must 1) start the enrollment process by creating a profile at the DMUK admissions portal (https://dmuk.edu.kz/) and 2) pay ₸45,000 (non-refundable)

      *What competition(s) have you participated in?

      *Upload certificates for all International or National competitions. This includes Olympiads, hackathons, sports competitions, art competitions, essay contests, chess tournaments, etc All certificates should be uploaded in origin (without translation) in one merged pdf.

      The Future Leaders MBA Scholarship has been crafted with the intent of supporting emerging business leaders who possess a minimum of five years of full-time work experience. In selecting candidates for this scholarship, DMUK is particularly interested in individuals who exhibit exceptional leadership attributes, as well as the potential for leadership growth, coupled with a clear and visionary outlook for the future. 

      Criteria 

      • Work experience: 5+ years of full-time professional work experience. Please upload updated CV in the application portal.  
      • Reference Letters: At least 2 reference letters in English/Kazakh/Russian from 2 companies listed in CV. 
      • English Language Proficiency: Good command of English is a must, proved by IELTS exam certificate not less than 6.0 in each section. 
      • Leadership Skills: Leadership & motivation will be defined by admissions committee during interview and motivation letter assessment (up to 1000 words).  
      • Community Engagement: If you have accomplishments in sports, charity, or fundraising activities, kindly submit the corresponding certificates. 
      • Admission to MBA Programme: Applicants must have received and accepted an offer of admission to a full-time postgraduate programme at DMUK. 
      • Application Fee: Ensure that 100$ Application fee and $2,500 Security Deposit payments are processed. 

       

      Scholarship award:  

      Up to 40% of the MBA tuition fees. The size of the awarded scholarship is determined on an individual basis.

      DMUK is committed to empowering women and has introduced a new scholarship opportunity for its MBA Global programme, providing a discount of up to 40% on tuition fees. This scholarship is designed to benefit aspiring and experienced female entrepreneurs. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

      • Women Entrepreneurs: Applicants must be female and have a documented history of involvement in enterprise development, along with a valid company registration statement. 
      • Professional Skills: Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills, including the ability to present their business concept, mission, challenges, milestones, and future development plans. Candidates should prepare a presentation detailing their business, their specific role within the company, and the personal contributions they have made towards achieving significant milestones. 
      • English Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the English language, supported by an IELTS exam certificate with a minimum score of 6.0 in each section. 
      • Statement of Purpose: Evaluation of a motivation letter of up to 1000 words, where applicants should showcase their entrepreneurial skills and experience while explaining the reasons behind their scholarship application. 
      • Admission to a Postgraduate Programme: Acceptance of an unconditional offer for the MBA programme. Completion of the required Application fee of $100 and a Security Deposit of $2,500 is necessary.

      As part of our commitment to fostering these corporate partnerships, employees of our Corporate Partners have the opportunity to benefit from a 25% Corporate Partnership Grant. This grant can be applied to offset the costs of the MBA Global programme. 

      Criteria  

      • Employment: Applicants must be working for one of our corporate partner companies.   
      • English Language Proficiency: A demonstrated command of the English language, substantiated by an IELTS exam certificate, which must reflect a minimum score of 6.0 in each section. 
      • Statement of Purpose: A motivation letter, spanning up to 1000 words, in which applicants are encouraged to showcase their professional skills and experience, all while elucidating the rationale behind their scholarship application. 
      • Admission to a Postgraduate Programme: Applicants must have received and accepted an unconditional offer of a place on the full or part-time MBA programme at DMUK and have paid the $2,500 deposit to secure their place to start in September 2025. 

       

      Scholarship award:

      We are pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity for international students seeking to pursue postgraduate studies (MBA Global) at our university. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

      • Citizenship: Applicants should be non-domestic students, holding citizenship from a country other than the Republic of Kazakhstan where DMUK is located. 
      • Academic Excellence: Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic record, typically with a minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent of Upper second-class honours (2:1) in their most recent academic qualifications.  
      • Admission to a Postgraduate Programme: Applicants must have received an offer of admission to a full-time postgraduate programme at DMUK. Completion of the required Application fee of $100 and a Security Deposit of $2,500 is necessary. 
      • English Language Proficiency: A demonstrated command of the English language, substantiated by an IELTS exam certificate, which must reflect a minimum score of 6.0 in each section. 
      • Recommendation Letters: Applicants must submit at least two letters of recommendation in English from academic or professional sources who can attest to their qualifications and potential for success in the chosen programme. 
      • Statement of Purpose: Applicants should provide a well-structured and compelling motivational letter, outlining their academic and career goals, reasons for choosing this programme, and how their studies align with their future aspirations. 
      • Community Engagement: While not mandatory, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership roles, community service, or relevant work experience may be considered as a positive factor in the selection process. 
      • Interview: an online interview will be conducted as part of the selection process. Applicants will be notified if an interview is necessary. 

      Scholarship award:  

      Up to 20% of the MBA tuition fees. The size of the awarded scholarship is determined on an individual basis.
