DMUK Hosts Aidana Kaskyrbek, Founder & CEO of Blockchain & AI Technology Center, for Inspiring IT Career Talk
On September 26th, De Montfort University Kazakhstan welcomed Aidana Kaskyrbek, Founder and CEO of the Blockchain & AI Technology Center, an independent research lab with a global presence in over 30 countries. Aidana addressed more than 30 Computing Faculty students, sharing her expertise on how to become a key player in the IT industry, secure job offers, and make informed decisions when considering internships and job opportunities.
During her talk, Aidana provided valuable insights into the current IT job market, revealing that demand for Junior Developers has significantly declined since 2021. She emphasized the growing need for professionals in fields such as game development, AI, Web3, and Data Analytics.
Aidana also encouraged students to participate in Decentrathon 2.0, Central Asia’s largest hackathon, taking place on October 18-19, 2024, with a prize pool of 50,000 USD. Leading up to the hackathon, a series of webinars and masterclasses will be offered by Quantum Black, AI by McKinsey, and OGAMES. Students can join the hackathon individually or in teams of up to four, and participation is free.
