Deloitte Branded Room Opened at DMUK Campus
November 27, Almaty, Kazakhstan – De Montfort University Kazakhstan (DMUK) celebrated the opening of its newest branded room, brought to life in partnership with Deloitte, a global leader in professional services. This vibrant space is designed to immerse students in Deloitte’s corporate culture while offering insights into the firm’s operations, career paths, and internship opportunities.
The event featured a series of engaging presentations by Deloitte representatives. Yeldos Syzdykov, Deloitte Partner, Tax and Legal Department, welcomed students and shared insights into Tax & Legal services, emphasising the department’s key functions and impact.
Deloitte’s recruitment team, including Fariza Kurmet, Recruiter, and Aksamal Seydraman, Recruitment Team Lead, provided an in-depth overview of the company’s recruitment and internship processes. They outlined the qualities Deloitte looks for in potential interns and employees, offering students invaluable tips for pursuing a career with the firm.
The branding concept for the new space was unveiled by Zhibek Issayeva, Head of Marketing and Employer Branding, alongside Aruzhan Kumarova, Junior Employer Branding Specialist. Their presentation highlighted Deloitte’s marketing strategies, external communications, and commitment to fostering a strong company culture.
Kenessary Kassymov, Director of Audit & Assurance, delivered an informative session on Deloitte’s audit function, explaining its critical role in ensuring financial transparency and its contribution to organisational success.
Interactive activities throughout the event kept students engaged, with participants earning branded Deloitte merchandise. A standout moment was a CV review session led by Deloitte recruiters, where second-year Finance and Investment students received personalised feedback to enhance their career prospects.
The event concluded with a networking session, where students and Deloitte representatives exchanged ideas and built connections over refreshments, further strengthening the university’s collaboration with this esteemed corporate partner.
Eric Dimla, DMUK Head of Campus expressed gratitude to Deloitte for their generous contribution to the university. On behalf of the student body, DMUK Student Union President, Dauren Shametov, also thanked Deloitte for its dedication to enriching the student experience.
