KPMG Tax and Declarations Seminar on DMUK Campus
On February 2, 2024, De Montfort University Kazakhstan (DMUK) was pleased to host a special seminar on Kazakhstan’s tax system. The event was exclusively held for members of the British Chamber, an official partner of DMUK. The seminar aimed to help attendees understand how to complete the Universal Declaration of Individuals, covering the steps, forms, and anticipated changes from January 1, 2024.
The seminar was led by speakers from KPMG Tax and Legal Department: Assel Nizamiyeva, Director, and Zhanar Baglan, Senior Manager.
Participants had the opportunity to gain insights into declaring taxes in Kazakhstan, including which assets and income needed to be reported in the Universal Declaration, how to fill out tax forms 250.00 and 270.00, and rules necessary to avoid administrative responsibility for tax violations.
This seminar provided valuable opportunity for direct learning from KPMG Kazakhstan experts. DMUK expresses gratitude to the British Chamber, InterNations community, and KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia for hosting the event.
