DMUK Students participated in BCG case competition
On November 1st, our DMUK Finance and Investment students participated in the BCG Caspian Case Competition at the Intercontinental Almaty Hotel, competing alongside talented peers from Nazarbayev University, KIMEP University, Narxoz University, and KBTU.
This year’s case was centered on a company dedicated to producing biogas—a project driven by concerns over pollution and environmental issues. With only two hours to prepare and no access to the internet, our students were tasked with creating a comprehensive five-slide presentation. They analyzed the company’s product, assessed the payback period, and evaluated the overall feasibility and implementation of the biogas project.
This experience went beyond just testing their analytical and presentation skills. It offered our students a chance to engage deeply with strategic problem-solving, work collaboratively under tight deadlines, and build confidence in addressing complex business challenges.
We would like to express our gratitude to BCG Caspian for creating this opportunity for our students to excel, collaborate, and learn from the best. Experiences like these prepare them for the future with confidence and purpose.
